By the way, Scayde, I wasn't aware I had whiskers... But that's OK too. :D ;)

Make sure that when you pick a class to kinda use as a guidline or stick to, you post it in the Charactor thread if you haven't already. :)

I updated the character description on the character thread. You can learn more about Thalimon now. :)

I find myself in an oddly melancholic and reflective frame of mind as I write.....Tonight, for the first time...I actually finished the Throne of Bhaal... Having done so..... feels a little otherwordly....

It was through Shadows of Amn that the original Anomen thread was started over in the SoA forum....from this was the born the Harem Tent here in SYM...... For over a year.... our story has lived.....assuming a life and an alchemy all its own..... I have made many close friends here in the DF....and some of you have touched me....and left an imprint upon my life that will never fade........

When I first bought this game..... I had no idea.... that so seemingly simple a purchase could be become so pivotal an occasion....

Maybe I am feeling uncharacteristically mushy... ;) ....but this feels like the right moment to tell all of you how much you mean to me....and how important the weaving of our tale has come to be. I believe that what we have created here within the DF has a power to it...and a magic..... We have connected and shared much of ourselves in a very special way..... and I am more grateful than I can possibly convey that I am a part of this.......

I am not entirely certain what has prompted me to write all of this tonight...... but I want to say "thank you" to everyone..... for sharing your humour, your wisdom and, above all, your humanity.....

Yes, a seemingly simple choice often disguises the hand of destiny... and for that I am profoundly grateful.

As always, your words unveil deeper nuances with elegance and grace. It has been a privilege to witness and participate in the unfolding of the tapestry that all of us have created, and to share moments of intimacy and warmth around the hearth of our own making.

Some things are beyond the power of words to grasp. What both DW and Thantor are sharing is such a thing. It's moments such as this one that reduce me to speechlessness (or, perhaps more appropriately, typelessness ;) ), and I wonder if I can adequately express what I am experiencing and feeling inside. Perhaps I can try.

Thantor, from the moment I joined the DF, I have felt the pulling of threads on a tapestry. Subtle at first, it became more succinct as I began to explore Thalimon in the story thread. I recall, quite some time ago, giving thought to approaching you all about joining the DF. Yet something within told me that it wasn't the time, for I had a strong impression that being a part of the DF had little to do with writing ability. I decided to wait, then, until the proper time came. The moment I saw Scayde's name appear as the most recent poster in the story thread, I knew that time had arrived. It really was as simple as that.

The sense of destiny pervades me. This is not a simple story, not by any stretch of the imagination. It is, in one aspect, something that is alive, pulsing with a mysterious energy. Exploring Thalimon is causing something to happen within myself that I quite frankly never expected to happen. I have written extensively during my life, yet I have never experienced the power and depth that I have since joining the DF.

I am with you, DW - I feel mushy in the face of this cathartic experience. :) I am already very close to some of you, and being a part of the DF has brought me even closer. Now I look forward to becoming close to the rest of you, for you are all people I admire a great deal.

*group hug*@all

@Sleepy: Glad to see you popped up. *Individual hug* ;)

Hell, I have never read a single page of this before, never posted in any DF threads, and in general have had no impact whatsoever upon anything even vaguely related to the conversation. I don't even know what you're talking about - But it's nice :) . *hugs*

I am not the most articulate, especially when it comes to being mushy. DW, Than and Chanak have covered just about everything for me. I just want to say for myself that I have appreciated our journey together, in and out of character. Thank you. *hug* :)

Everybody is saying such nice things to eachother in this thread, I just couldnt say no to posting.....

Yes, while Im a newer member of this forum, and may not have shared as many close moments as you all have had together, I want to say that I have had a great time being emmersed with the nicest people I have found on the internet. And I get the feeling that many of you are nicer than many of my RL acquaintences...so thanks for your friendly nature and friendships. :)

And DW, I believe that everything happens for a reason, and when you got that game, that happened for a reason, beyond just the game. If it wasnt for my brother not getting Morrowind, a game Ive never heard of previous to him getting it, and if my laptop hadnt come in late (cause I would have spent all my time playing on it instead of going online) I would have never made my return to Gamebanshee after I was idle for 6 months. So I believe that happened for a reason. Just my perspective.

Carry on.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Hey, T'. Are you up to anything as far as the story goes? If not, then we can run ahead and wrok on the Abomination while everybody else fiddles around with the newbies. :D
