uncontrollabe Slayer transformation

Well I have a problem. After being tortured by Irenicus and having the dream (in which i can't kill 'Bhaal' in front of Imoen since the second dialague happens so fast and he's only "near death") I finally ran into bohdi 'transformed' and dropkicked her and the vamps with her. Now i've slept twice and i keep turning into the slayer. Is this supposed to happen or is it due to the fact that i didn't kill "Bhaal" in the dream? HELLLLPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is supposed to happen but onely 2 times then when you leav spel hold you will the abilty to do it by your self

IIRC the second time you sleep you have a dream, and get the ability to control the slayer change...

If you want to avoid decimating your party you can sleep with a wall between you and the rest of the group. You'll turn into the slayer and just stand there until you get back to normal.

Most strange, but my protagonist (that only one who have gotten so far) have never turned into slayer during the rest. The event with Bodhi, then, after leaving Spellhood, had the dream and obtained controllable feature.
I guess, one never learns to control it before the fight with Irenicus in the Spellhood, though.

Its all coming back to me now!

If I remember correctly it is the second dream that you gain control of your transformation, which did not happen on my second rest! I put my slayer in a room with a closeable door to rest then waited until they chilled!

There is one point where you need to force a door that cannot be moved by a mortal. I chose to transform (once I had control) and shifted the door. However, if I remember right, though your slayer is a mean fighting machine (best yet!) and great for the final battle - you do lose reputation points each time you use it...

If you stay in slayer form too long you will die...
Also its a almost usless form, the weapons and armors (regeneration...,that is what the ring of Gaxx is for) that we usually have at that time mades us stronger that the slayer.
Also save before rest, so if you dont get the dream, reload and try again.

I doubt it, the slayer form make us extremely powerful, with my kensai/mage solo i killed all drizzt & party just shapechanged in slayer, when you transform the hp lowers but you have 5 attacks/round(10 with improved haste wich i use with ring of gaxx)
