I read an article in a magazine once in which these Dubbers stated that we prefer the dubbed version(which is horribly edited and often brutally truncated) over the subbed(unedited). The fact that they believe this is sad and disturbing. It is true that we liked the dubs before we knew better and there are still those like that, but those of us who have seen the truth, who have seen the subbed, we know better. We know that Duo is the god of death and not the great destroyer. We know that Haruka and Michiru are lovers. We know the truth!! *stops ranting about idiotic dubbers*</STRONG>

DUB is exactly why i watch KUNG-FU movies!!!
welp...that and the simply awesome action ;)
man you will hear sum funny stuff in old 70's DUB FU movies ;)

btw....i have sum other fav anmie but it's definatly not for children so i won't mention it ;)

Now, for me, THAT was a PATHETIC series...

...simply because it was a very poor "copy" of my favorite anime: Voltes V.

Voltes V is composed of five ships (Crewzer, Bomber, Panzer, Frigate and Lander) constructed by Dr. Armstrong who in reality was the exiled "hornless" Baron Hrothgar of the "horned" Boazanian Empire.

Voltes V along with other super robots like Mazinger Z, Great Maziner, Grendaizer, Daimos, Getta Robot, Mekanda Robot
were popular in the mid-70's to mid 80's.

I'm not so sure if they became a hit in the west.

You called.....Minnie-chan ? :D :D :D

There are ots of anime that I've watched and I rarely got any faves. Yet my personal favorite will always be "Saint Seiya" and all Masami Kurumada piece. BTW if you want some high school love anime you can try watch "Boys Be" ;)

The anime that I hated most : "Pokemon" and all anime bootlegged from it like : "Digimon", "Digi Tamers" etc.

Digimon *shudders*

Favorites are definetly the long-term quest types. Not just one adventure indavidually per episode... Gundam Wing has always been my favorite (Which is strange, since I'm not a huge mecha fan), but Cowboy BeBop is another topper. I've recently seen some Fushigi Yuugi subs, which are pretty good, too. Yu Yu Hakusho is also getting to be on my list.

You should get Ayashi no Ceres. It's better than FY.....and have less "Tamahome!!!!!!!!" scream on it :D Seriously the main character is less dependant on her male companion that she does not scream a lot to ask for her companion help. :)

Pokemon
Digimon
Sailor Moon
Gundam Wing
Hamtaro (sp?) (which I think is quite funny :D )
Dragonball Z
Does Jackie Chan count? That is funny too :D
Medabots (?)
Parachute for sale, like new! Never opened!

I love Tamahome. Lots. How often can you give a guy a ponytail and still make him look hot? I can think of two exceptions, and that's it.

Duo Maxwell and Chang Wufei. Those are the only other two.

Ysh-
Hamtaro! I watched it all the time, and ain't it just the cutest thing ya ever saw?

I enjoyed "Blue Seed" very much and I liked "Oh My Goddess". I'm watching "Steel Angel Kurumi" currently, and is it fun but not at the top of my list. Oh, "3x3 Eyes" was great as well. I still have to watch the last three chapters. :)

Has anyone seen "Video Girl Ai"? If so, what did you think of it?

And interesting one is "Oh My ME! Strawberry Eggs" kind've fun.

I also enjoyed Cowboy Bebop immensily, same with Vision of Escaflowne (acquiring the Subbed version asap). Vampire Hunter D was great as well.

Well its time for someone who doesnt talk a lot about anime to talk about an anime that isnt talked about a lot. (You still with me? :D )

"My Dear Marie" Has to be one of the funniest animes Ive ever seen. Its a 3 part series that lasts a total of 1.5 hours. This is a comedy about a scientist that falls in love with a friend that he cannot get the strength to talk to. So instead of confronting her, he creates a robot that is a clone to her, and this creates hilarious situations....I highly recommend this series to any anime fans and even non-anime fans. It is histarical. :D
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Anybody ever see Blue Submarine No. 6? The graphics weren't appaling, neither was the story line... However, I think that one sea monster, Mutio, was just the cutest little thing!

Yes, I've seen it. It actually wasn't too bad, though the ending was kind of disappointing. Come to think of it, Muteo kind of looks like you, except without glasses. :)
