I just was staring at my bottled water in chem class and zoned out for literally 20 minutes. I look up and he's talking about the same stuff he was before, so I assumed I missed nothing. :D

Sorry to hear work is a pain. I think I know the feeling of that....

We also have fresh olives, for those of you who have asked for them with our martini pancakes, instead of the usual mutant miniature onions. :)

I'm picking out presents to suggest anonymously to my wife for my birthday, in December. :D She comes from a family that believes strongly in "practical gifts," which means dull items that you'd buy for yourself. As I've told her before, I prefer gifts that I wouldn't buy for myself but want. Occasionally she does that, but she has a hard time getting the imagination and powers of observation to work together and find something suitable.

So, I make suggestions. Currently, I know she's picked up some cassettes or CDs of Balinese gamelan music, and I've recommended some CDs of the complete symphonies of Edmund Rubbra. I'm considering other options. :)

Hey Fable. I've found Amazon.com's wish list very helpful because you can email your relatives to take a look at it and they can create their own as well. I have a family full of people who are impossible to buy for. I have a December birthday, too - what a bad time for a birthday. I always got lots of combo gifts - often a Xmas present with a birthday card.
