Big shadows? Easy

Do you want to kill big shadows easily?
Play for mage and use Cloudkill. It's fast
and cheap

Let Shadows to pursue you and
if there are a lot of them, use cloudkill.

And for non-mage characters, use the Cloudkill pipes - I usually find two in the game.

Usually they are NO problem for me. If you have got MUCH Dexterity they can't hit you!

Btw, The Shadows you are talking about, is it the ones in Ravels maze, or is it the shadows in the Fortress of regrets?

rofl, i just found this out myself. I was going nuts running from those things when they finally cornered on some stairs so i thought "what the hell, it couldn't hurt". Next thing I know, I had a whole screen full of dead shadows, which turned out to be all of them except one, and I got a free level to boot.
