Daedric Quests *Spoilers*
Daedric Quests *Spoilers*
I am trying to finish all the Daedric quests. I found 3 or 4 on my own, then I saw it posted a while back that there were 8 of them, but no one posted where. I've since found a few more, but I'm still missing two. Would someone please post a list of them and where they are? Thanx!

Daedric Quest
They're the quests that you get from Daedric statues, usually in Daedric shrines. Only some of them, of course, (8). If you're in one that works, a box will come up when you put your cursor on the statue (kneecaps is a good place to try). You click on it, and the Daedra (Malacath, Azura, Merhunes, ect.) will talk to you and give you a quest. You get really wicked stuff from them.

You dont necessarily get daedric items...and they might not necessarily be constant effect, but most are dang good items-do I highly recommend it.Originally posted by Mikael Skiffard
Hmmmm..... Gotta' try that. Do you get constant effect items(deadric items)?
OK-heres a little run through-certain statues in daedric shrines dont talk at all, others give you small bonuses/blessings for a short period of time. Others give you quests. You talk to them like you would initiate dialogue like you do ordinary townsfolk and what not (for PCs its the spacebar, obviously...)
*spoilers on locations*
Well the Shrine of Azura is the most obvious of these shrine quests-her statue is clearly marked on the map, so out of curiousity, you venture there, talk to the statue, get her quest, go do it, and you get a cool item. And that is that. Well there are more just like that, just not clearly labeled on your map.
Shrine of Malacath
The shrine is located in the Sheogorath region on the long island West of Dagon Fel (just West if the Sanctus Shrine island). This is is the long island thats long east-to-west. The shrine itself, is located on the eastern most part of that long island.
Shrine of Boethiah
Alright, this one is located underwater. This is the hardest shrine to find. It is north of Hla Oad. If you look at the fold-away map that came with the game-and look for an X on the water on the map, north of Hla Oad, that X indicates this shrine. To initiate dialogue, look for the statue's head on the ocean floor.
Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon
This small shrine lies in Yasammidan, just west of the Dwemer ruins of Arkngthunch-Sturdumz, west of Ald Velothi on the coast North of Gnisis.
Shrine of Mephala
This is obtained by going to the canalworks in Vivec Arena-its a little table in the Morag Tong guildhall, and you can speak to this table/shrine to do this quest.
Shrine of Molag Bal
This shrine can be found in the ruins of Yansirramus, two islands West of Tel Aruhn (west and a bit north of Sadrith Mora).
Shrine of Sheogorath
This is located in the underworks of St. Delyn in Vivec. There is a door in there that is guarded by an orc or a nord (I dont remember)-but theres a shrine inside where Sheogorath is. The door should be labelled: Ihinipalit Shrine
Right? Thats about all of them I think.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Sure thing!
Oh theres some real good stuff for almost every quest. It all depends on what you are proficient in and what youd usually use. But its all good.Originally posted by almandara
I can't wait to see what stuff I'll get- hope it's as good as the other ones I've done!

*SPOILER*
Well it should be relatively close to the Erubrusium Camp....dont remember in which direction though.
If you enter any tomb that has a rusty dagger in it, pick up that rusty dagger. Thats what youre aiming for.

Nope. But they could be used in the expansion....Originally posted by UncleScratchy
Thanks - I found it a bit north of Mt Assanibibi. I was really disappointed in Mahrunes Razor - worst of these quest items so far. Sorry I wasted so much time looking for it.
According to the Book of Daedra there are a bunch more of these gods besides the ones previously mentioned. Here is a list of the others:
Hircine - god of the hunt
Hermaeus Mora - god of knowledge
Vaernima - god of dreams and nightmares
Clavicus Vile - god of power and wishes (I've got his helmet but not from a daedric shrine quest)
Meridia - god of living energy
Namira - the Night Mistress
Sanguine - god of hedonistic revelry (wonder if there's a connection to the Morag Tong's sanquine artifacts?)
Has anyone found a talking shrine for any of these other gods? Does anyone know from official guide books, the developers, etc. that these others don't exist in the game?
A couple notes about the above....Clavicus Vile-you can find his mask. Its not a shrine but its an item that is enchanted by him. Worth finding.
Sanguine-well you find ALL sorts of sanguine stuff in the game, so in essence there are 27 enchanted sanguine items.
