I Need A Hug...

Post by Aqua-chan »

Have you ever had a really long day that just stresses you out?

In the world of teaching, there are no "thank you"s or "I aprreciate it"s. When I get home after seven hours of "DO we have to do ALL of this?"s and "Can't we just use our damn calculators?", or numerous name-calling a swearing in the halls, I come back to a house where nobody wants to talk to me because of a stupid game that my roomie and I had a fight over, my mom is too busy to stay on the phone, the kids... Pshaw! And the dog isn't necessarily the type for open conversation... Now, I've recieved a flame over my beloved gamebanshee!

I need a hug! :( :o

I need attention!

That sounds like a fairly rotten day.

Oh, umm, errr, I'm sure she won't mind :)

As you know I'm not much of a fan of that Delryn guy, but attacking someone for defending him is not right. You have my support here.

Seemed logical. What other reason can you think of? A lot of people don't think too highly of Anomen, so it makes sense to me that those who defend him would be targeted too.

I may be among those who have voiced my opinion of Anomen here, but I do respect your dedication and admiration to the bearded one.

It looks fun, yeah...But I can only imagine how many type-o's I'm gonna end up with... :)

I wanted a 17 inch screen, and I like the fact that it's flat, too....It should be arriving tomarrow or the day after. Dying to get it in, I suppose. :)

I always liked the little mouses with the scrolling wheel in the middle of the buttons... they're just so much fun. :D

EDIT: Looking back on all the happy smileys, I think my mood just improved!

Are you getting a 17" flat CRT (normal computer screens) or TFT (the really thin ones like laptop screens)?

*HUGS* @ AC...you know I'm not the biggest fan of Anomen, but I'd never get personal with anyone over a PC game...shameful :(

On another front, keep plugging away at the teacher thing...I have had some great teachers, but I know I never let them know how I felt about their efforts. Now I've left school, I've realised just how much they helped me, in every way, and going back and thanking some of them made a huge difference to me and to them. One teacher, probably the nicest person and best teacher I ever had the luck to study under, told me that the real gratitude didn't come along very often, but when it did, it reminded him of just how much he loved teaching, and why he got into the job in the first place. Basically, he inspired me to carry on with my Latin, take up Ancient Greek, and do a Classics degree, and while I know teaching is mostly a thankless task, take heart in the fact that if you do your best, you will make a difference in people's lives, and know it or not, many will be hugely grateful for all that you've done for them. :)

*hugs* I'm quite a hugging type. Note that Anomen isn't. ;) :D

Thanks, Fabulous. (Not true! I find Ano to be very huggable! :D ) :) And Kammy and Flibble... I think it's time to visit a shrink... or at least buy myself one of those stress relief, squishy balls. :)

Flibble - CRT. ;)

*Hugs* @ Wolven. Hey, I've never met you before, but it's nice to greet somebody with a hug. :) I'm just sorry I'm not in one of my usual, happier moods...

Thanks for thinking of me, guys... This desperate cy for attention was brought to you by the Letter H and the number 4 and the ungodly short woman who is hiding in a box, trying to grade onehundred-fortythree quizzes. ;) :D

@AC: *hug* to my first PM buddy...

I'm glad you're feeling better. :)

You know...I have a really big flamethrower. I'm sure Ysh and I could turn whoever hurt you into an overcooked microwave dinner. :D

Or...perhaps this individual needs a good, solid spanking. :D
