*sneaks over to DW, peeks over her shoulder*

Hmmmm...what are you reading tonight? ;)

It's raining torrentially here tonight, and there's nothing like a book, some San Miguel beer, a movie, a glass of Merlot, and perhaps another pair of fuzzy slippers...

*looks for the pair of duck slippers for DW* ;)

@Flibble: Hi Flibble! I haven't seen you in ages. :)

Sorry to hear that DW. I hope your friend is feeling a bit better.

@Chanak, yep it's been a while. Had some major changes at work where I do most of my posting, but all is settling down now. BTW, you'll look a bit odd wearing 2 pairs of fluffy bunny slippers :D

edit - Hey there Duffman!

@Flibble: The other pair are for DW. ;)

I can find you a pair, too, if you'd like. :)

@Eery: LMAO! I see our friend has finally discovered the truth. Well, looks like I better go look for a newspaper tomorrow...I better get on the bandwagon. :D

Thanks Mr. Flibble...I think it will be okay..by the end of the weekend I had pretty much convinced my friend to get a new cat :)

@Chanak, I am reading a book called In Search of Tusitala
by Gavin Bell.... It is a retracing of Robert Louis Stevenson's steps in the South Pacifiic. The writing is quite wonderful :)

lol! @ the duck slippers :D

Good to hear, losing a pet can be pretty hard.

If we're going for bizarre slippers....

Puts on his bright green monster feet slippers with orange claws!! Haha! have at you :D

@DW: *smiles* That sounds pretty fascinating. I admit to not knowing very much about him. I ought to look into that.

I am currently reading Belgarath the Sorcerer. Quite humorous, and very well-written. ;)

Hey! I found you a pair of duckie slippers under the couch! Image
*tosses fuzzy slippers to DW*

@Eery: The astrological significance of Duff in the third house must figure very importantly to you...sounds like it warrants further investigation. :D

@Flibble: Hey....nice slippers. Image

Good point, Chanak -

Is it wise to follow the advice of Duff? Every day millions of people consult their Duff and yet the world of science has not been brave enough to answer this question. Until now.
For forty days and forty nights I'll give up my normal life and be submitted to the will of Duff. My task: to follow its advice. To ignore speculation, prediction and guesswork but at all times to follow instructions and pursue luck
.

Now showing on BBC: Duffman's Important Alcoholic Experiment :D

*grabs remote, flips over to the BBC*

Hmmm...let's see what the old chaps have come up with, eh? :D

Personally, I believe that the current rise in Duff sales figured greatly in the 368 point swell in the US stock market recently. :)

@Mah: No, I haven't. I would love to try some. My father gets misty-eyed when I mention San Miguel to him... :(

My sister knows where to get San Miguel in my area, though. Image

EDIT - I'm going to be heading off to bed...I'll probably squeeze in a little IWD2 before I hit the pillow, though. ;) I'll see you all later. :)
