The Sitting Room (no SPAM)

Post by Vinin »

Alrighty boys and gals, welcome to the sitting room. After reading Tybaltus's philosphical stories and wishing I could do mine to I WILL! Use the sitting room only to talk about works that are posted here please, it should be interesting. Post your own fits of work whenever u want!

One time in Chemistry class i got really bored, so I decided to write a few more poems for my friends and I's collection.

What of
What of the World?
One that is unforgiving
for a man and his mistakes,
as he is a good man until one wrong?

What of our Earth?
A god's decree to be made,
yet, not two agree
on the name of Him?

What of this nation?
When one man, alone,
can send many to their death
on a whim?

What of myself?
When I can but watch,
as my friends
climb my mountains?

What of this rainy day?
As I stare out at the dour mood,
I often wonder,
What of?
It's pretty easy, I mean just go kill a dragon, get laid.

"I never thought it would end like this,
just because I got no ****,
I'll shave my legs and wear a bra,
I'll even cut my p**** off for you."
-Reel Big Fish

Now that's a love poem if I ever heard one.

Wow. Thats quite a surreal poem, Vinin. Good, though. I liked it. I liked how you started broad and then broke it down to yourself and then the day itself. Again, quite surreal...

And btw, glad that my writings want people to do more. I didnt know whether it would have an impact or not, but, hey! If I can motivate people to write cool stuff, then I know Ive done well.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

yay! poems! i wrote this a little while ago...

news nonsense

walked he onward thought he.
(mindspines ever flowing chi.)
stepped he lept he over karma tree -

chameleonic dreaming tonic;
reptilian chili,
lizardlike frizzing the dizzy.
stood he on moods swing dusty.
could he if he wood-swing rusty.

forth and back a lack of still
singing sand swill passing hands
ampersand swirling clinging.
cutting windchimes spinning ringing.
astounded flinging confounded until

children hills dance passive more
towards ever fancy blinding store

stop.

dander-lions never roar.
somnambulistic maniacal, beneath starlight's lunatic gaze..

For some strange reason, I despise rhyming poetry...sounds too cheezy maybe...
