Create a new party and click "import" followed by the name of your character for each member you want to take along.

I've been wondering about that too. Perhaps there is an auto-save at the very end that you can go to. If that is the case, you can export your characters at high level and then import them into Heart of Fury.
The "B" is for bargain

1-800-DOCTORB is right.........
the game does not export the characters for you........
you have to do it yourself.....
there is an export button in the record screen (press the R button while in game...were you can view stats and stuff.......)
but be careful........some items can be exported/imported....some items cannot..............

Container items (bags of holding, scroll cases, gem bags, etc.) and their contents will not be exported, nor will quest items or gold.

It's a good idea to export your character with their name and their level so you know which version of that character you want to select for your new party.

Start your previous game from your last save.

First, go to your Inventory screen; take anything in a bag of holding (or scroll case or gem bag) that you want to keep *out* of the bag and put it into a regular inventory slot - bags and cases (and their contents) are *not* exported with the character, so choose wisely.

Next, go to Character Record screen and, for each character, click the "Export" button. Select a slot to save to, click overwrite, click yes. Exit the game.

(Go to the config program, check the HoF box, exit.)

Start IWD2, choose "New game"; at the character creation screen, select a character slot, click the "Import" button. Repeat for each character.

Hope this helps.

... and when I look at you I think, if I were a psychopath and we were standing on an extremely high cliff above a pounding surf that would drown out your scream ... well ... you know ...
