Hallo Thorgar. did you trigger the umar hill quest? this is quiet normal that it is showen on the map but you are not able to go there yet. go to umar and do some of the quests then it should turn blue and you can travel there at will.

Garcia,
The Umar Hills don't have anything to do with the Windspear Hills.
Thorgar,
Try this: Go to the Gate District of Athkatla and exit through the "gate" (right-hand edge of map).

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Thorgar, does Windspear highlight in the way the other areas do when you move the cursor over it? And assuming it does, what exactly happens when you click on Windspear?

Remember, guys, he said he'd started in Trademeet. He's already been outside the city via the gates. He should be able to travel directly from Trademeet to the Windspear Hills without problems.

This is not true if he left the city via the Gate District before getting the Windspear quest (and the map-update for it). He still has to go back and re-exit the Gate District to be able to travel to the Windspear Hills.Originally posted by fable:

If he's already been outside the city via the gates and Windspear Hills shows up on your overview map but is greyed out try leaving Trademeet on different sides of the screen.(e.i. Leave to the right side of the screen..if this doesn't work try the top of the screen...ect ect) If this doesn't work try a different area "Umar Hills" and see if it will work from there.
(I personally have left from Trademeet on the right side of the screen and had Windspear Hills become availible...at the time it was greyed out)
