Sorry to interrupt the happy spamming guys

Before we head into battle, are we going with this map or has anyone else any ideas they wish to add/amend? Also, would you mind giving us all an indication as to where your character is now, and where they are heading please. Thank you.

As a for instance, Chanaks post speaks of the Pool cavern, are Thalimon, Nippy and BS to take on the drow archers and a second suicide squad? - are the drow archers actually in this tunnel? Just because I put them there in my crude effort, I am happy for you lot to suggest otherwise if it doesn't work for you

Will the other DFs push north to the spiders/orcs?, will the spell casters drop back to the tunnel of Shalimare? Will we face the drow clerics at the north tunnel or the south? (I thought that maybe the north, since DF spellcasters could push in this direction if the fighters are taking te south tunnel via the pool cavern and perhaps the suicide squad)

As indicated in my drawing, Ysh is just inside the mouth of the tunnel between the main cavern and the cavern of Shalimare

Current position: Looking north towards the openings, about on third into the main cave from their openings, slightly to the left. Aegis symetrically to the right, if he doesn't mind. (And he's definitely not so close to that fire trap or I my char will get angry

I'm in a line with BS and Thalimon (and Farscape, right?) Facing the incoming enemy, not sure what direction though.

@Ysh: I feel it might be best for Thalimon, with Nippy, to carve a path directly to to the heart of the elite of the wave. What say you, Nippy?

I do know the light of the Avenger will adversely affect the Drow, which can work to our advantage if used properly. Thalimon would seek to take out the spellcasters first, archers second...

Then if we are to go by the map T'lainya and I have posted here, it would make more sense for Thalimon/BS/Nippy/Farscape to head north. The tunnel from the cavern of Eldaths Pool to the Aboms lair is where I placed the archers, also this would be too narrow - I think - for full melee. I was thinking that perhaps the drow clerics may take this route as a counter to round in on the DF? On my map, I had considered the first drow assault coming from the north of the main cavern, following the spiders. I am open to reconsidering though, as I said before

Thought I would briefly take a break from my thesis to answer this question...*sigh* *tries to feel motivated*

As those of you who have played NWN with me already know, my ability with maps and directions is rather appalling

So I will say that DW is presently located wherever Scayde and Than are...I'm not sure where that precisely is though...

I am still thinking about DW's role in the battle. More than likely she will hang back and focus on spell casting. In the case of the magic-resistant Drow this will be mostly comprised of summoning spells, while the orcs will experience the usual onslaught of magic. Most probably she will also end up periodically involved in some melee fighting, and I imagine she will, in addition, be employing her longbow in order to disrupt enemy spell casters.

I plan to reserve the extra powers of Shalimar's amulet for the final fight against the abomination.

I'm going to post some specialty skills for T'l since she's a specialty class priestess. I see her being focused on the drow priestesses and possibly the spiders as she saves vs spider venom automatically

I am considering a switch to 3rd edition rules for my character, which would eliminate the 'Totemic' part of his class. What do you think?
