demogorgon... (possible spoiler)

Post by Crnogorac »

What kind of animal sacrifice do you need to put in front of the demogorgon in the kuo-toa area...? I put some tadpoles, blood of the kuo toan prince (where do i need that later, if not here...), an elder orb... nothing works... is there something else you need to do before that...? Thanx.

Nah, that's all you get.
But what you get isn't bad at all.....
It's not the size that counts it's how you use it
One flying bunny doesn't bring summer yet.
It's better to have loved and lost.... ah I gotta stop

Hate being annoying you know :D ;) :p

Cast monster summoning like Dios said and position them in front of the Demogorgon Altar for the death knights to appear. Use the tainted tadpoles in the pool of murky water to the left of where you find the Koa-Toan prince to screw up his regen, or so I hear. Give the Prince's blood to the drow matron mother to finish the Ritual quest. Hope that helps.

You didn't find the Blade of the Equalizer?

I once sent Boo into the beholder lair all by himself. I equipped him with the Ring of Gaxx, the Cloak of Mirroring, and the Helm of Balduran. He made it all the way through. I only had to reload once when he was imprisoned by an Elder Orb. :)

Boo has traveled in my party as a regular party member on numerous occasions. I didn't use a MOD; I simply used a couple of cheat codes: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("BOO") and CTRL-Q. I usually equipped him with the Helm of Balduran, the Cloak of Mirroring, and the Ring of Gaxx. He's something else. :) I made it a point to have his image made into a statue at the fountain in Trademeet, since he is one of the most deserving heroes of all. The excursion into the beholder's lair was actually part of an experiment to see if Skald Song is "stackable". At that time, Boo was travelling with a Chorus of five Skalds cheering him on. (I simply took a multi-player saved game and imported five custom characters.) I had originally conducted the experiment with a Kensai/Thief and got bored with it pretty fast. Boo always makes things more fun, like all little things that try hard. :)

boo is a card, hmmmm....i completely forgot about the statues...wow..

i know youre going to do it, scratchy, just becareful, and DONT level him up when you get enough xp....the game engine dont like that...

boo is actually a better fighter than haer...he once smacked that bhaal wench huntress in tob for me....

i still like the idea of sacrificing anomen...hehehehheheh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great fun, eh boo???

anomen: charname, why!!!!

cause we need the soul reaver and aerie is getting tired all the time, so we need a strength belt for her...

night, there is blade, sling, greenstone, and if you have item upgrade, you gotta go after the amulet of spell warding, its a great item, good for fighters....

Speaking of Boo:

I recently had a battle where I neede Minsc to go Berserk in order to avoid being charmed. After the battle, I moved my other characters away until he calmed down so that he wouldn't attack them. Suddenly, he started swinging his sword and little blood spots were occuring in mid-air, indicating that he was fighting something invisible. When he stopped, I looked back through the events log and discovered that he was fighting Boo!

Evidently, when he goes berserk he will hit the closest creature and Boo is considered a creature even when he is in the quick-slot.

Fortunately, even though the log said Boo :D eath, he was still in the inventory and didn't seem any worse for wear. If cats have nine lives, how many do hamsters get?
