about barb
when barbs get to level 11 do they automatically gain 10% resistance to physical damage and when you level up it doesnt even say that? or it should say it? because when I leveled up it never did.

I don't think it's shown in the level-up screen, but if you check the character stats it should be there (somewhere at the bottom, when you scroll down the window where experience, reputation, THAC0 etc. is listed)
There are three kinds of people that no one understands: geniuses, madmen and guys that mumble.

Actually it's 1,5,*9*,13, but I'm sure that was what Bruce Lee was meaning
Now a question myself, have you any idea of why those damn Shadow Fiendds still get my Barbarian "held" every now and then, even if he's enraged? Aren't barbarians supposed to be immune to hold effects when enraged???

Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...

oh, thanks a lot, Serje and Bruce
Serje , are you also soloing with a barbarian? About shadow fiends, I get a message he's dominated sometimes or confused when he's enraged but he isnt, must be a bug. Hm, always thought barbarians get a rage ability every 4 levels as in 4,8,12, strange.

Hello Forgotenwarrior. I am soloing a Barbarian as we speak actually almost done. But I Think the reason that you do not get one at 4th level is because it starts at level one for the first rage ability and then you need to wait 4 levels which would bring it up to level 5 for the next one. I will check this out though.

Well, my character was pretty absolutely immobile for real... with no icons on the action bar, shaded inventory and all.About shadow fiends, I get a message he's dominated sometimes or confused when he's enraged but he isnt, must be a bug.
@Bruce lee: Hold is weird? Guess so.
Barbarian kit say he's immune to hold "spells"... not "effects"... That's scaring! ... does it mean he's immune only to the "Hold Person" spell, to put it plain and simple?
I have to check what the Inquisitor kit says.
(Not that what the kits say is always true)...

I think Keldorn had a bug that was solved by applying a certain patch that restored his true inquisitor immunities. I don't remember where I found it, but I'm certain it can be found in the crossroads thread.

Several of his CREATURE definition files have him improperly defined as a normal paladin rather than inquisitor - I believe Sorceror's Place has a fix.

I was thinking about a different question... Does Barbarian's, Berserker's, Inquisitor's and Undead Slayer's immunity to Hold work differently by any chance?
I hope to find out testing with various pcs tonight...

The inquisitor's and undead slayer's immunity to hold are innate effects which are applied on creation - they should be able to walk through webs even though they'll appear "webbed". Yes, Berserker rage is supposed to grant the same, albeit, temporary immunity - from what I've seen, it uses the same immunity to effect code. I don't know about barbarian rage, though - I know it's not quite the same, but can't remember the differences off-hand.
