Alchemy problems in Dragon's Eye...
I made the guy his Histaachi potion, and replaced the root before I got another Sabotaged potion. I also only made 1 bottle of Wyvern poison, and the alchemist Dhey guy won't make me any more potions, the option is gone! The highest alchemy skill I have in my group is 10, and I think it requires 15 to be able to brew your own potions. Do you only need 1 bottle of wyvern poison, or do you need one for each pool you have to poison. I don't have any saved games from before The alchemist stopped helping me, the last one is back in Kuldahar before I came to dragons eye. Is there anyway to get another Sabotaged potion so I can pass the door on level 3? Can I pickpocket the potion off the first guy I gave it to (the game ends when I kill him, says hes still critical to the plot
). Sorry for the lengthy post, thanks for the help!

You are correct, each pool requires a wyvern potion.
It sounds like you intimidated the alchemist into making the potion. Is he still hanging around? If he is, you should be able to sneak the wyvern stingers onto the table and wait around with a steathed/invisible character. As long as the alchemist is there, he should continue making potions.
As a last resort before reloading or hacking/cheating, you could try resting & fighting to level up your own alchemist. Hunt around for exp, but it will probably take a while.

Ya I got him to brew one of the potions (and I gave it to the Nhuero guy to use) and I brewed on Wyvern poison, but now when I talk to the guy he just says he already made the potion and asks what I still want with him and all I can say is goodbye. Is there a way to console in a Histachii potion? I already tried leveling from getting attacked by monsters by resting, and my person with alchemy skill can only get to 14 when I leveled. Thanks for the help.

I have not used the cheat console, so I am not familiar with it. Do you need the wyvern poison for the pools or the Histachii potion, or both?Originally posted by Longshadow

Some other methods you might try:
You could try to import-export the potions until you have enough, but that probably won't work if the potions are considered "quest items," but I don't know for sure.
Your alchemy score must be awfully close to the required score. You could check all the merchants to see if an item or potion could get it up more. Perhaps raising your Int would do it, perhaps not.
You could try using a character editor to increase the alchemy score. Maybe Dalekeeper? Someone else may know more about this process than I do. (Hint, hint...
You could try importing your alchemist alone into an old save game and play through until they gain another level, then re-import him (or her).
Lastly, the Yuan-ti's alchemist should keep activating the lever indefinitely. Try leaving the wyvern stingers on the proper tables and killing some time. Maybe that will work?
Thats all I can think of right now. i hope something in there helps. It can be a real pain to get stuck and have to load a really old save.
P.S. Anyone else out there have any sugestions?
Somehow my sorceror could never get the alchemist to help - but as long as he's there, you can place all of your wyvern stingers onto the table at once and just wait for him activate the lab on his own - he's always going back and forth. I don't believe my sorceror's alchemy skill was that high at this point, either.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
