Where is the boy that give me the Umar Hills Quest?

Seems wierd that i havent run acrossed the boy that gives this quest. I recieved this quest quite early in my other game, and in this one he seems to have eluded me. What district is he in, I really need my stronghold, hehe.

He is in the Government district outside of the council building.

I found him at the bottom-left hand corner of Maukeens Promenard.

Do you have Mincs in your party, I seem to recall that he only approches you if you have Mincs.

No, that's not true, but if you have minsc, i think that you can't refuese the quest.

Xandax is right vicsun, delon approaches minsc and asks him if he is a warrior and if he can help, minsc then asks your pc if you will go and help him. in my current game (in which i dont have minsc) i found delon in the govt district, by the fountain

If you don't have Minsc the boy won't aproach you, but you can initiate the dialogue yourself, and still get the quest. The boy is in the fountain area in front of the government building.

i'm not sure, is it that boy, but one is wandering from game to game. I've met him:
Slums,
Temple District,
Gate District,
Gov. district.
Parties were quite diferent, of course - kensai/mage, paladin, monk, ranger/cleric...
So, where he pops up may depend on anything including completely random factors. The common in all cases is he always is on the street, never in the inn.

he has approached my party in many places (with different games) however when i have not had minsc in my party he has allways been standing by the fountain in the govt district

thanx for the responses, but i found him in the govt district in the middle of the town square, nope i dont have minsc in my party, just my ranger "Swiftpaws", my monk. my ill/ thief, my kensai/mage, jaheria and anomen hehe. so there you go have fun and prosper, but dont forget to take care of your girlfriends hehe lates!
