Does anyone play the triple-class?

Post by Bruce Lee »

I soloed a fighter/mage/thief once and it was a blast. I haven't tried the fighter/mage/cleric in ToB but it should be equally cool methinks. Has anyone played it?
I have removed the cap so I guess if I decide to play as one I will give myself mage abilities as I level up.
Triple-class fans out there please share your experiences with me.

I'm not a triple class player because I like to play a full party. I think that triple class is probably the best for soloing.

I once used SK to create a Kensai/Mage/Thief (yes I know thats cheesy) in SOA and he was Uber. Nothing could touch me. Someday if I find the time, I plan to use the same char to tackle TOB. Pity I deleted my final save with the char.

I might try to do this with my next solo char. I've gotten bored with all the duasl and single classes and never really looked into multiclasses. Might be a good idea. If so I would probably go for a f/m/c because of the wicked contingensies and triggers you might get. Tripple storm of vengance anyone?

I've played both triple classes and found them extremely powerful although they might be missing some HLA's. I recommend that you install the tactics mod or you might feel that it's alittle cheesy playing these classes.

Why would anyone not want cheese?

Cheese seriously ruins the game for some people like myself. This week alone I've restarted 3 times over because I felt that I was cheesing myself thru the game with overpowered classes. Too bad I never seem to learn my lesson though...

Cheese is high in cholesterol, so you have to take it in moderation. :) :D

Anyway, I think it is brutally unfair for monsters that have to fight any high level triple class players. It is down right mean because you give them no chance. Spell sequencers, whirlwinds, stoneskins and cleric beef-ups are just too much for anyone, even the baddies...

Spoiler

It might be fairer if you solo to fight the other Bhaalspawns (no doubt harder as well).

Don't worry about that. You'll receive HLA's for all three. Just not at the pace of multi or a single class.
