Good stats for a monk?

Could anyone tell me what are good stats for a monk? I have no idea how to make a good monk, cause from what I've understood, it seems that they require pretty high str, dex, con AND wis. I was just thinking about a new party and a monk would fit very well, I just haven't made any monks before despite the fact that I've been playin these infinity-games for a long while...

The stats you mentioned are the stats you want to spent points in for a monk. I gave my monk str=16, dex 19, con=16, wis=16.
