Bard
Bard
I was reading some post, and was wondering can I change my charactors stats at a mid point in the game? I am average of 9th level, Is their a spiff to cheating my stats, especially for my bard who has low chr, and what does a ranger need to cast spells?

I've seen cheats for giving your characters experience and items. There are also cheats that affect global variables. Do a web search on "Icewind Dale 2" and "cheats" for these. Good luck.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I made the mistake of creating a Bard with average CHR. Give all the Bards equipment to he other group members. Delete the bard from your group. Create a new bard; it will be a 1st level. Then cheat the experience points up to where your bard is currently. The cheat code for experience is fairly easy to search. There is no easy change to the stats that I know of. You can also try to use dalekeeper2.beta.
In your configuration setup, make sure cheats are on. Press CTRL + TAB in the game, to bring up the console. Highlight your bard, type ctrlaltdelete:setcurrentxp(#) - Set the XP of the selected party members to # points. Press enter twice. You should be good to go. There is a list of many cheat commands in the forums on the official web site under spoilers.
Download the latest Beta of DaleKeeper 2. It will allow you to edit almost everything. That way there is no need to erase your bard - simply change the stats.

Re: What?
Would you please at least try my link? Why do you think I gave it to you? Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll find the latest version. It will let you change your stats, XPs, avatar, equipement and almost everything else.

but ur smart enuf to install and play the game rite? just go an install (unzip technically) the DK2-beta into some folder and find the .exe file (i forgot the exact name, but it should be obvious. run the program then open your save game. read the help and readme if u need help. the game editing should be pretty obvious.
