Half-elves' racial bonuses

Do half-elves get the elven bonuses when using long-sword and long-bows? What about the other types of swordes and the short-bow?

1/2 elves do not get the elven bonuses for use of longsword and longbow.

Thanks! A shame, though. I believe I've read on the homepage of Pool of Radiance: Ruins... that they do get the bonuses. Of course, this could be because of the third edition rules.

So what about the elves - do they get bonuses for all kind of swords and bows, or only the long ones?

Full blooded elves get +1 to Longsword and Longbow. I don't believe they get any bonus on other swords, or short bow.

I'm not sure but the NWN-class-faq (3rd rules) says that true Elves automaticly get a free profiency for shortbow, longbow (+composite) and either longsword or rapier but NO bonus at all. But it COULD mean that even a mage is proficient with these weapons...ouch!
