Sling of Arvoreen

Post by McJanus »

Hi, everyone

After I finished the Beholder Dungeon area, I decided to read through the walk-out on Gamebanshee to find out if I missed anything in the area... and I did!! I didn't find the small niche where the Sling of Arvoreen is located. How do you use the x,y coordinates they give you in the walkthrough? I have no idea how that correlates to the actual game location...... can somebody please help me? Thanx so much

I'm afraid I can't check for you, but it's likely the same key as it was in the original BG. That is, the "L" key. Press that, and you should receive a pair of X,Y coordinates correlating to the location of your mouse cursor on the game screen. Try it out.

Umm, just tried it, but got nothing..... I even tried ctrl-L, shift-L, and alt-L. Nothing. Image

Thanx for your prompt reply, though, Hellion. That is much appreciated.

However, I still don't know where the Sling of Arvoreen is supposed to be... where is it close to, in terms of the areas on the Gamebanshee map?

ok, just tried out all the keys whose functions I didn't know on the keyboard. Found out the L key Hellion referred to was actually the X key in BG2. So I've now found the Sling of Arvoreen. Thanx a lot to Hellion for replying and even more thanx to Gamebanshee for its thorough walkthrough with the tip on that, cuz I'd never have found the sling without help.
