How much to pay for a reputation point?

Post by Felix »

I remember seeing a list on some other website that shows how much you have to pay a temple for one reputation point. Unfortunately I forgot what website that was....
Does anybody around here know, or knows the amounts to pay?
I only remember you'll have to pay less when your reputation is around the middle.

Forget paying reputation in temples. Forget the pages in the manual about it. Why?
1. If you are evil then low reputation is what you wanted, isn't it?
2. If you are good then the quests give you reputation "far beyond 20" - I think you can get "25" at least. Sure, your reputation cannot exceed 20 but if you count reputation increases then you should reach 25 or so.

Well, if I play good this problem doesn't exist; but why shouldn't I pay some money to get better prices from the merchants if I'm evil? I don't think that evil is equivalent to having a low reputation; but that has been discussed before.

Problem at hand was a NE Bard that I'll wanted to buy Dak'kon's Zerth Blade; rep 5 and Cha 18 => 33000 Goldpieces; Casting friends (Cha 24) => 30000.
If somebody knows, what it cost at Rep 9-11 it's just a simple calculation wether it is worth the trouble of paying the temples.

You should add 1000 for levels 13 and 14 though.
Enjoy,
