Trouble with Paladin and Ranger spells

Post by Bishop »

I have a paladin and ranger in my party that have just one spell slot apiece so far (level 3). I picked a small heal spell for the paly and an entangle spell for the ranger, but they don't work. When I go to cast the spell the button is all blacked out and (looks) like it is pressed down already. Even after a fresh nights sleep when my mage and cleric get all their spells back, my paly and ranger spells are all blacked out and I can't click them. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I don't know if this is what you mean, but when I multi classed my Ranger to druid, I couldn't cast spells. The slot was blacked over, like she didn't have any memorized. I right clicked the blackened slot, and it let me choose from a list of things to put in the bar. In the list, was the spell button, so I p[ushed it, and it put the spell button into the menu for me, all lit up like it was supposed to be.

I didn't know I could customize my menu  :D

Sometimes there may be other factors involved. For some strange reason, my drow cleric's spells were all blacked out when she donned a suit of black dragon scale armor. I think this might be a bug....for this happened with every other character who tried the armor on...

BS, that sounds like something to try. :)

Thanks guys. I will look into that. It also may be that my ranger and paladin don't have enough wisdom.
