Thank you Chan..*HUG*..
I admit to being in a rather pensive and ominous place when I wrote that one...but I do like it....it is kinda like the Blues, it makes me feel better when it's dark....

The Wind
I am touched by you
You are the wind
As it caresses me
And I am lifted up
I stand on the cliffs
Overlooking the mountains
The wind blows where it will
Or not at all
The wind cannot be captured
Put it in a jar
It is no longer the wind
But stale air
I feel the thrill of you
As you wash over me
A velvet touch
Upon my skin
You are the wind
A gentle breeze or raging gale
A still calm day
It matters not
I stand with you
In the eye of the hurricane
And marvel
At the beauty of the storm
I am touched by you
You are the wind
As it caresses me
And I am lifted up

Nice one..@Scayde....
Sadly, I'm no poet myself, I don't have the creativity needed for that, nor the language skills... so I have to resort to reply by using song lyrics - or parts of them....... ...
To The Battle We Ride...
We Crossed A Starlit Sky...
No Space No Time...
We’ll Catch The Wind...
Strange Losses Men Died...
We Crossed A Starlit Sky...
And Still No Space And Time...
We’ll Catch The Wind ...

..and while I'm at it - another one of my all time favourite songs...
On a dark desert highway
Cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas
Rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance
I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy, and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself
This could be Heaven or this could be Hell
Then she lit up a candle
And she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor
I thought I heard them say
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely place (background)
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year
Any time of year (background)
You can find it here
You can find it here
Her mind is Tiffany twisted
She's got the Mercedes bends
She's got a lot of pretty, pretty boys
That she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard
Sweet summer sweat
Some dance to remember
Some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain
Please bring me my wine
He said
We haven't had that spirit here since 1969
And still those voices are calling from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely Place
Such a lovely Place (background)
Such a lovely face
They're livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise
What a nice surprise (background)
Bring your alibies
Mirrors on the ceiling
Pink champagne on ice
And she said
We are all just prisoners here
Of our own device
And in the master's chambers
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives
But they just can't kill the beast
Last thing I remember
I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
Relax said the nightman
We are programed to recieve
You can check out any time you like
But you can never leave
... know this song ??

Here is something I wrote today.
The Warrior and the Dragon
Shadows…in mists receding, lengthen in smoky torchlight,
Silence…in darkness retaining, the chill on the winds of the night.
Shining…the warrior is riding, astride thundering hooves of a dream,
Charging…through forest primeval, captured in silver moonbeam.
To the dragon’s lair he swiftly rides,
Beyond the cracks of doom;
For it is there that he shall surely find,
The darkness in the gloom.
In winter snow he charges on,
Through frozen mountain pass;
Reaching blazing desert dunes,
Upon a sea of molten glass.
Thunder…the voice of the storm, roars in the winds of the eye,
Lightning…wildly flashing, arcing through sullen night sky.
Darkness…upon mountain inviting, weaving her siren call,
Awaiting…leading the warrior, heart smitten, her amorous thrall.
To the dragon’s lair he swiftly rides,
Beyond the cracks of doom;
For it is there that he shall surely find,
The serpent in the gloom.
In winter snow he charges on,
Through frozen mountain pass;
Reaching blazing desert dunes,
Upon a sea of molten glass.
Chains…in darkness binding, the coils of her form serpentine,
Tears…from eyes softly blazing, falling on scale’s lustrous sheen.
Dreaming…in the throes of her slumber, the rush of the wind in her wings,
Seeking…the end of her torment, the solace that death surely brings.
Through the cracks of doom the warrior rides,
To the dragon’s lair afar;
At the mountain throne he at last arrives,
By the light of moon and star.
Through the driving rain he slowly climbs,
Against the wind and deadly hail;
To meet the serpent he shall surely find,
With sword and gleaming mail.
In the eye…
He stands before her chained form, revealing awakening might.
In the eye…
She stirs amidst glistening scales, azure in the storm’s flashing light.
His heart quickly beating, and chest wildly heaving,
The warrior draws shimmering blade;
In answer to dragon’s desperate call,
To destroy that which the darkness had made.
There he stood shining, as she opened her bosom,
Revealing her heart to his gaze…
A jewel of green fire, of beauty surpassing,
Of wondrous passion ablaze.
Drawing his breath, the warrior struck true,
Cleaving the darkness with light…
The shrieking of metal, of chains smote and severed,
Rang out in the storm of the night.
And in the darkness of the storm, the dragon was freed of her chains,
And rose into the wind and rain, forever flying free.
