I searched for this but could only find some recent stuff so.

What is a goldbrand?
How do I get it?

Learn to swim

and try to explore underwater NW of Hla Od (there should be a mark on your paper map).

I would direct you to my ever-so-useful Yellow Pages for the solution - it's a unique weapon, so try at the site below, where there is indeed a screenshot and some excellent directions, as well as instructions on how to turn it into Eltonbrand.

Okay I spent the better part of two hours looking Northwest of Hla Oad. I came across some underwater daedric ruins, but couldn't find any doors. I have an offline interactive map, so if you could tell me the location in reletivity to shal or some other place besides hla oad that would help. (Oh and I checked out the site even before you reccomended it, it's pretty cool ^^)

OK, there aren't any doors. In about the middle of that ruin, there's a broken Daedric statue. The head is lying on the sea floor. You gotta click on that to get the quest.

It'll talk to you when you've done it...
