Killing Demon Chapter 5

How do you kill that demon (looks like a Balrog and they identify it as a Balor) in Chapter 5 so you can get the light stone you need to proceed? My cleric has thrown her two bolts of glory and it says the demon is 'barely injured' and it stuns everyone else. What will a warrior do?

Be sure to cast protection from Evil 10' radius on your party.

Then, what I did was summon a pit fiend in the room as I released the deamon and let them go at it. After the fiend is dead, go in and finish it off.
