Imoen's Girdle?
Imoen's Girdle?
I just got into the asylum and Irenicus stole my soul. I recently got Imoen back, and her girdle is gone! Does this mean anything, like some freaky mini quest or is it just because of the severe magics casted on her from the testing? Just thought it funny 'cause it said it could never be removed ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)

It doesn't affect anything.
In the future, try our search facility. You could do a search on "girdle," and probably get my answer above at greater length, six or seven times over.![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/)

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I was thinkin it was what made her leave the party when she reaches 1hp? But Fables rarely wrong if ever.

Imoen's Belt keeps her from being killed before the crucial cut-scene in Waukeen's Promenade. It's there to keep you from messing up the critical path. The belt protects her from all kinds of attacks, including spells. However, the belt itself doesn't make her run away if she reaches 1 hit point; that's in her AI script. I once did a few experiments, and if I remember correctly, the cut-scene takes place even if you remove the belt and kill her--she still shows up in Waukeen's Promenade. So if you really want to kill her, I guess you can, but then the plot doesn't make any sense. (She also shows up in the cut-scene if you kick her out of your party. The game must go on.)
The Imoen you meet in Spellhold is actually a different character with a different creature code and a different AI script (with different stats, different soundset, etc.). There's no reason for her to be wearing a belt that keeps her from dying at that point in the game. If she dies, it doesn't render the plot meaningless. You can kill her, abandon her, or whatever you please.
