After defeating the Myconids i found Cernd and he was red?

I thought i was going to be able to have him join me so he can fight Faldorn? He was red. Then i went in to fight Faldorn with Jaheria and she got mopped. Any advice on what happened, and why was Cernd red?

The only thing I can think of is either you hit him with a area effect spell or the Myconids cast one and hit him.

well i went on and dueled with Jaheria again, but this time i summoned a nymph and buffed alot and won woohoo, to bad i killed Cernd. oh well hehe of to the genies now

You might want to check your reputation. I think killing Cernd will lower it.

Not that it matters too much in other respects, provided you're playing an evil party and Jaheira won through for you. Although the code should, IMO, make Jaheira leave you after you kill Cernd.
