Hya, I discovered a nice trick and I thought that you guys probably would like to know this trick. It is about writing spells in your mage book with a low intelligence mage such as Aerie.
This is the trick: Just write any spell in your book straight away when you find one until you have the maximum spells for your intelligence. (By Aerie that maximum is 12 I think) Save the spells you can't write anymore in a few spell cases until you have a lot of them. Then drink a potion of genious which gives you 25 intelligence for a while and start writing the spells. Now you are able to get a huge spellbook, also with Aerie. O yeah, those potions of genious are in round purple bottles and ya can buy em almost in any temple. In government district temple they have 13 of these potions
P.S: If ya want other people also to know this trick, just give a short reply so this message stays on top of the messageboard

Not to diminish your discovery - but I think most people have used this for a long time
By the way - doesn't potions of genius only give +4 intelligence up to a max of 25
(By the way - remember to save some of these potions until you face Mindflayers - they are their weight worth in gold at that time )

and when you mem. spells remember to "save up" spells so you only use on potion they are (besides the gov. dis.) pretty hard to come by especially in the later stages and that is were you need them most.
if you have tricks just post them most might know but I am sure some don't.

This weeks health tips:
Don't eat sharp objects it can be the cause of 7 out of 10 bad stomages.

Just a little twist to this strategy (well known). Why not collect all of those unidentified items (wands from Irenicus's prison, +2 bolts [grrrr] etc) and when you do the big spell learn drop a potion of insight as well. With a wisdom of 18 and Intelligence of 25 your lore will be such that most stuff will identify itself.
Also potions of Mind Focusing do +3 Int and +3 Dex and last 12 hours. With a high enough int and dex you get a MUCH lower AC and some mind control bonuses too. You can even sleep on a dose and wake up fighting! - Curdis

In truth it is said, O Smiling One, that there is nothing new under any of the suns. What you have bespoke was bespoken in ages past, and shall no doubt be discovered again in ages to come, after our voices are stilled and our cities have become more dust under the hooves of some future caravan's camels. Inshallah.
Or something like that.
