The Underdark

From Spellhold i went straight to Underdark. If i went off with Seamon(?), on his boat, would things be any diffrent when i got down there. Is there a way to avoid fighting all of 'em??

So in regards to the Underdark, which path should you take? You can agree to go with Saemon, and then he takes you out of the asylum. At that point, he tells you to meet him at his boat, but you can return to the asylum and enter the Underdark if you feel so inclined. So can you use this path to get to both the Underdark *and* Sahuagin city? Or will Saemon leave once you reenter the Underdark?

Cool! Thanks for the help. I was at a complete loss as to which approach to take, since it almost made it sound like I would skip the Underdark if I left with Saemon. OK - I'm off to go sailing now.
