i have 2 questions:
first, which npcs do u tink r the best in bg2 n r worth using?

secondly, is it possible 2 fight drizzt n his pals n defeat them or r there other ways to obtain his scimitars n his frens weapons?

Hmmm....

I've denied those, too, but I'm doing just fine anyway. I can agree on Keldorn though, I believe he is even better than Minsc, but since I kept Minsc instead of Keldorn I can't say that for sure...
But I even like Valygar with Celestial Fury in his main hand and another Katana in his off hand.

Hmm I would say Keldorn for the holy avenger, but Anomen can't be under estimated. He gets 2 attacks, has decent hps and all those spells. A 'draw upon holy might' before a battle is a great way to improve his fighting skills. Plus at the higher levels he can use the hammer of Crom Faeyr with Mastery+. Couple that with Righteous magic or similiar spells and he's the best fighter in the game Image
