Post by Gorgan »

For mages would unarmored be a good idea? I was then going to train in all the other armors in misc. once i maxed unarmored. Is the good idea?

It really depends on what class you selected - go with whatever armor ability is part of your major/minor skills, since these will increase faster.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Me personaly, I have a certain attatchment to being able to kill somebody with nothing on but some clothes (no, don't go there). So for one character I picked to have to have unarmored and also as a "weapon skill" hand to hand. Note: You better have a lot of health potions, you hand to hand skill goes up really fast, cause you have to hit somebody so mannny times. Your unarmored will go up, and when it gets to 100 you have an amror rating of a hundred. Now considering there is some armor that is 300 plus, you might sneer, but this is very effecient transportation wise. Cast a jump spell, jump over a long way.... cast another one, and some more till you run out of magicka, then take a nap, ect... ect... My goal is eventually to get my characters skills up to a hundred, but until I get to a decent level, I still follow my role, because it's easier. When you get a "universal" character, that has 100 in everything it really doesn't matter what you are, except for your race and birthsign, you are pretty much like every other character at that level. This game doesn't penalize you for wanting to change roles halfway through the game, it just makes it easier to follow your role.

If one feels he's getting hit too much he always may add some sanctuary to his defences - it's very effective and often undervalued thing. However, the andvancing in the skill depends on how often one's hit, so there should be some compromise altogether.
