i loaded up the shadows of amm and started playing it (its ace by the way) but have been looking on here and from what youve all been saying should i have loaded up the thone of bhaal as well at the same time or am i supposed to do that later when ive finished shadows of amm? im really confused now!!

Please help now because i want to carry on but if i have to stop and start again ill be really peeved.

No problem - i bought ToB a while after SoA, and it basically 'patches' the game - opening up the new areas in your current saves. it should run fine

Having TOB on top of SOA is great because while you do SOA you don't run into the xp cap that you would with a solo install of SOA. Not to mention the advantages as manicmonkey said about having all the kits, rules and patches.

Good advice. Adding on ToB as soon as you lay hands on it is a must. Don't worry, it won't mess anything up.

Also, a nice little feature: if you need to uninstall SoA/ToB, you will not lose your saved games; they remain intact in their folder after the removal. Never fear!

Oh, the first chance you get, download the latest game patches for ToB. Those are also a must have. The latest one has nice stuff on it you won't regret getting.
