Since this is my first time playing a good single player party, id like to get opinions of players with experience with single player parties. Im sure this topic has been discussed before but i have standards set for my party so dont get me wrong here...
I dumped Jaheira and minsc because i was lazy(no way to get them back they arent in copper coronet).
Aerie, sure she is great but too low hp and.... and she annoys me greatly. i suppose that wont be a great reason though.
Im planning to take Nalia, Imoen, Aerie, Anomen, and Keldorn to the end... My PC is a monk(all of my party members good aligned...wishy-washy two-shoes goody-goody paladin type... )
Mazzy! Don't forget Mazzy. She's as lawful good as you can get (a halfling paladin), and a decent fighter in her own right. You can find her in the

The temple ruins north of the Umar Hills.
Valygar, too, may come in useful, especially with Celestial Fury as a backstabbing weapon. IIRC, he's of neutral good alignment. Not exactly LG, but close enough.
sarevoks a good choice because you can convince him to change his alignment to chaotic good. for this to work more often you should download the ancension mod (sorry i dont remember the website)
You don't have a theif. I think that you can (and should) drop Aerie and Nalia then pick up Jan and have a spare spot for passengers Jan is CN which shouldn't bother most good types. This will only slightly reduce your casting power and Anomen is more than an adequate cleric instead of Aerie.
I would also consider restarting and rescuing Minsc and Jaheria. Although this will complicate the choices. - Curdis

Your Monk - Second melee fighter
Keldorn - Main melee fighter
Mazzy - Main distance fighter
Anomen - Cleric and second distance fighter
Jan - Thief and second mage
Nalia - Main mage (may be replaced with Imoen)
You could also drop Keldorn, put Anomen in front with your Monk and take in Valygar instead (great backstabber and does huge amount of damage while dual wielding Celestial Fury and the Corthala Blade).

Life seems short considering how long you will be dead.
I have this party with an Undead Hunter PC and it works exceedingly. Keldorn instead of Valygar would be an other choice but I don't like using him with Anomen because both of them have horrible dex and need Bracers of Dexterity.
jan has another advantage. get him early and train him right and use spike traps to make a lot of the very nasty battles tword the end very easy...giggle....
savvy or keldorm, both have good points and bad points, but both are also very annoying to me, savvy has this big angst thing that gets annoying. keldy is a paladin, doo goody two shoes that really bits after a while. but both are really good. savvy needs an immediate helm of charm protect, since he is very vulnerable to charm family of spells, he even took adire charm from a stinking ogre mage...lowest of the low. keldy is just great once you get gauntlets of dex.

Put them on Keldorn (who'll use Carsomyr) and let Anomen use a good shield instead. I see your point, though.
