You have Paintshop Pro? If you do, check here. Load up your image to this program. It's got a button on the right side toolpanel that looks like a DNA-string with a dotted line into. (crappy description, i know) This is the 'crop' function. Press it and cut out the part of the picture you'd like to have stay. Double click on the part you've just marked. This should make the part a new picture. Save it and upload.

Hope it works. And I hope you have Paintshop Pro.

No, don't have it. Like I said, I know nothing about painting programs. If I'd had it, I'd have known what to do. Looks like I'm out of luck. :(

ok. If you run windows it's got paint. Dunno if Linux or whatever has a similar program. Anyway, press the drag down panel called "picture" The choose "Attributes" and there should be a changable number of pixels like this:

Width: xx Height: xx

Change these to 50 and 50, save and upload. This is the last resort, really, and i suggest you take a backup of the picture since you may ruin it this way. It is, afterall, not the ultimate tool for picture editing.

That seems to have worked, except that the white background remains in place. Any ideas on how I might change that?

I would assume just use the paint kit, and the paint can option while in editing mode. I mean thats what Ive done while experimenting with other avatars that Ill never use.

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Does anyone have an av with Gimli or another dwarf? Would be cool to have as I've grown tired of the Dwarf King I have now as an av......

No hurry though.....

And no x-mas hat....

Shes a female nord from the game Morrowind. A nord is one of the many races used within Morrowind. Usually they are strong in weaponery and cold situations. Though they have a few other bonuses.

fable, I had a feeling that things like this would happen, so for every avatar I changed I kept the original...it's attached. Oh, and I'm not changing my avatar back till Russian Christmas, which due to odd calendar furgles isn't until the 6th of January :) Two sets of presents, yippee! :D
