Hitting undead in attack?

Post by Ragin Cajun »

I have a level 2 Warrior; and have stumbled across two different cave/dungeons. The first thing that attacks me in both is an undead "ghost" of some sort. Took two whacks at him...and got "Your weapon is useless against __."

So I high tailed it out. What type of weapons do I need to hit these undead creatures?

Also, I found an underwater grotto in Seyda Neen (opening town) where the manual said there was some good treasure to get started. I can't figure a way to get in and out fast enough without drowning. Suggestions or pointers? Thanks in advance.

You need either a weapon made of silver (as opposed to iron or steel) or an enchanted weapon of some type for these types of creatures.

A potion, scroll or spell of either water-breathing or swift swim should do the trick.

... and when I look at you I think, if I were a psychopath and we were standing on an extremely high cliff above a pounding surf that would drown out your scream ... well ... you know ...

You will need enchanted weapons or silver weapons.
