Freeing Slave?

Post by Ragin Cajun »

Checked in other threads dealing with slaves and didn't see the answer to my question...

I went to Hla Oad on a Thieves Guild quest for the Dweamer (?) artifacts. Could not taunt the guy into giving them up and didn't have money to bribe him back up (like I read in another thread). So any ideas how to get them?

Secondly, I went into the cave and took the quest to deliver the slave to Balmora. Went to the house, but it was locked. Did a search and saw that they will kill her so I am having a change of heart and want to free her. Can't figure any way to free her and can't get a dialogue box going (all it says is "Too scared to talk"). Now she's following me everywhere, including other jobs and a dungeon. Really in the way...how do I resolve this?

Thanks for the help...

The dwemer artifacts are in a chest in the same room, you can pick the lock but only if you stand behind the pillar so the redguard guy don't see you and when the cat guy has it's back to you :P Use sneak to see if the coast is clear :-)

Any suggestions on how to dump this slave...whether she dies or not? My character would rather she not...but at this point I really don't care. The house I'm supposed to deliver her to is locked and she won't talk to me for me to free her.

Argh!

You're supposed to unlock the door - pick the lock or use a spell or scroll.
