ok, cant figgure out my problem, has anyone ever uninstalled and saved thier savegames reinstalled and reapplied thier savegames to get rid of problems and did it work?

Reinstalling isn't going to do a thing to solve your problem, see my post in your other thread.

Yes, you can copy your save folder, uninstall and reinstall the game and copy to save folder back into the MW folder without any problem. Works fine.

As far as this correcting problems with the game, it depends.

If you've screwed up your MW installation by mucking around with the Toolkit and/or console then, yes, this will restore MW to its original state. Any saves made in the screwed up state should be deleted, though.

If you mean fixing your journal not updating problem then, no - you need to go back to a previous save and do the quest over.
