Gate and summon monster 1
in bg2, a gate spell always rendered a pit fiend, and said so in the spell description. but iwd2 doesnt specify, so whats it make? and as for summon monster, what does it make?
i looked down the mine shaft to see if the cart was coming
it was-epitaph on nashkel gravestone
Executioner: so what is your last request?
Prisoner: just a clean death, so could you test the axe on my bonds
Executioner: Hmmm, all right.
Prisoner running away) thanks

the monster summoning and gate conjure different monsters depending on char. level i have gotten scrags, zombies, zombie lords, mummies (which are cool to get as they cast spells on their own) djinns, frost giants as for gate, so far i have only gotten pit fiends and conrugons. might i say, i am playing in HOF mode and to me these are the most helpful spell, with the addition of summon undead, conjure greater shadow, and invisible stalker, as none of these require a protection from evil with the exception of gate. druid spells such as elemental summoning, especially the higher level spell where you summon 1 of each of the 4 elementals is great too as is animal summoning, which at higher levels like 7,8 and 9 also summon elementals, but you cannot control elemental movement, and you definitely need protection from evil cast on party members. have fun and enjoy with your new friends
