Ok well here's my idea for a party, suggestions and improvements needed!
Leader
Sorceress (Aasimar) S8, D18, C14, I8, W12, Ch20
Should I give her a single level in something (not paladin as then I won't get money for the quests)
Tank 1
Fighter Lv4 Paladin LvX (Aasimar) S18 D12 C18 I6 W16 Ch8
Obviously I'm not intending to use his turn undead ability!
Fighter Lv4 for 3 slots in weapon proficiency
Tank 2
Fighter (Human) S18 D12 C18 I6 W16 Ch6
Cleric/Fighter
Fighter 4 Battleguard LvX (Shield Dwarf) S16 D10 C20 I6 W18 Ch6
Fighter Lv4 for 3 slots in weapon proficiency
Cleric
Morninglord (Human) S14 D10 C12 I6 W18 Ch16
Turn Undead, Healer, Can fight if he really needs to.
Rogue Lv2 Wizard LvX (Tiefling) S8 D20 C14 I20 W12 Ch4
Yeah I know '4'. Not good but possibly necessary.
Specialist Mage aswell? If so which school?
So what do u think? Too many ugly stupid people or is it ok?
The I and Ch really don't do much for a lot of the classes though do they!
Any other comments?

The only thing better than a dead kobold is a dying kobold that tells you where to find is mates.

charisma & int are not that important for most char's
sorc, if asisamar - your only multi choice is paladin.
ftr / paladin - you do realize that a paladin's abilities, savingthrows & cure wounds ect ect all tie into cha? the high wis is nice, but it's not something you want to raise at the expense of charisma. (also a point to consider my 2nd char seems to get dragged into dialogue a lot)
human ftr - consider half orc, but no problems.
cleric / ftr - not too bad
cleric - i've not found turn undead to be usefull at all in hof (iirc it's tied into the undeads hit point's), your results may be different - i'd also consider a different diety - damage spells are all very weak in hof, summons & enchants are far more powerfull, consider a 200 hp goblin how many flamestrikes to kill it?
rogue / wizard - nice. the enchantment, transmutation & necromancy schools seem the most powerfull in hof. (your sorc should also be going heavy w/ enchants / save or die type spells)

Thanks Kov-Ivan,
Probably not a good idea to multiclass into a paladin then, atleast not until I've got a bit into it and got some money together, maybe later on.
Did not realise that no! Just thought it was used for dialogue and turn undead! Re-reading the manual has helped but how does the armour class bonus from charisma work? Is there a maximum bonus you can have depending on what armour your wearing like dexterity or doesn't that matter?
Half orc eh? To start with strength 20 I'm assuming, is that really worth taking a -2 to your abilities (+2 to S but -2 to I AND Ch) and losing the extra feats for?
Which deity would you suggest for the human cleric then? ie. which has all the summons spells?
Cheers for the help

paladins do not get a bonus to ac from cha, that is a misprint in the manual, they do get a bonus to all saving throws from charisma.
the half orc is great if you don't mind an even lower int & cha, they only miss one feat, and as a ftr you will pick up many feats anyway. but it's a judgement call, imo the human's advantages of skill points + free feat are wasted w/ a ftr.
right now i'm kinda biased about a cleric of tempus, most of the domain spells are summons, + free axe focus and the tempus ability to boost strength. very handy stuff.
best of luck to you.

Should work very well. I made a assimar pure sorc S8 D8 C18 I18 W8 C20. The high int gives lots of skillpoints so bluff, diplomacy and intimidate are high. With points to spare in spellcraft and concentration. The D8 hurts, but with mirror image and caution you are pretty safe.
If I were you, I would keep the sorc pure -> more spells == more fun

Can't really say I am a big fan of paladins... but if you want to have one, why not take advantage of divine grace? It is not like you need him as a healer - you have 2 already!
Tank 2
Fighter (Human) S18 D12 C18 I6 W16 Ch6
Not too shabby. However, you might want to add som barbarian levels, in order to get more hitpoints (and some nice abilities). There is a lot to be said for a halforc/dwarven fighter/barb.
Cleric/Fighter
Fighter 4 Battleguard LvX (Shield Dwarf) S16 D10 C20 I6 W18 Ch6
Fighter Lv4 for 3 slots in weapon proficiency
Sacrificing 4 levels of cleric is not a good idea imo.
Cleric
Morninglord (Human) S14 D10 C12 I6 W18 Ch16
Turn Undead, Healer, Can fight if he really needs to.
Morninglords are nice. Don't leave home without But do you really need 2 clerics? Resting is pretty hassle-free in iwd2.

Looks good. School is pretty tough. Maybe skip evocation all together. Damage spells are pretty worthless in HOF.

Seems a little low on spellpower. But otherwise pretty good.
Pure sorcerer it is then I think, though I have the high dexterity for the missile attack bonus more than the armour class bonus. Coz lets face it, most of the time she'll be shooting not lobbing missiles - save them for the tough fights when I need them.
Like I said I didn't realise about divine grace, lay on hands etc being related to charisma ( I had the high wisdom because I HATE being charmed! ) I've changed that now but I can't seem to see the benifits of it - my saving throws still suck - (see my other thread "saving throws?!?!?!"
Might throw in a level of barb and think about changing him to a half orc I think.
Ok - the reason I have two clerics is simply to have two people able to cast "raise dead". If there's a better way of getting this please tell me. Losing the cleric levels isn't a massive problem, this characters more of a fighter - the morninglord's the real cleric.

there are some hof items that will let other classes cast "raise dead" or "ressurection"
so you can get some coverage there, that being said dual clerics may be the way to go in hof, more then once my party would get totaly routed if the bad guys chose to focus on my cleric.
all of a sudden my cleric would be running for her life, and unable to cast the mass heals the rest of the party dearly needed.
