Question about Swashbuckler

Post by Troll Slayer »

+1 AC every 5 levels
+1 to hit and damage every 5 levels.

does this progression continue into TOB?

I am loving the idea of having +8 to hit and damage at level 40 with a +8 AC bonus.

as far as I know, yes, but I think it slows to every 10 levels, but I'm not sure

Don't know, should think so, always handy a familiar.
But the UAI ability creates alot of cheese-posibility's.
Like a kensai-thief that wears armour!
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Swashbuckler.

I'm with you Trollslayer, just started a fresh Swashbucker in SOA with Acension mod installed.

Curious how he will fare in ToB. :)

Your thief can use the summon familar scroll with the UAI feat. My swashie managed too.

But you better check that his wisdom is high enough to be able to actually use the scroll.

You actually get +9 to AC and +8 to to hit and damage.
The lowest you can get is -24 AC unless you have godlike dexterity.
However ac modifiers from armor and improved invisibilty adds on so you can infact get down to an effective AC of -30 against specific weapon types.
Thac0 will be similar to that of a high level fighter... 2-5 lower I think. Very similar to a multiclass fighter.
Very cool class indeed.
I recommend using foebane and scarlet ninja to.
