I think it's for HoF. I never encounter the upgrade option on normal play mode :(
I'm not dead yet :D :p :cool:

Thanks for the FYI...

...I thought that there would be a mini-quest or something that would involve the fusion of the medallion and the sword in order to make the upgrade. :o
