windows 98 and pentium 2

Post by damien the 3rd »

i have a windows 98 pentium 2 computer. i had planned to use it for bg2 and tob but ive seen so much cool stuff for iwd2 and the original was so cool i want to get it! but how will it run on my machine with about 1.8 gb on it?(my plan is to get bg2 and tob on it, beat it, then delete the game and take my save files out, so i can just reinstall them if i want to play it again) i might be able to boost the memory up with to about 2.1 gb with some extra chips i have and some improvements and new software.
i looked down the mine shaft to see if the cart was coming

it was-epitaph on nashkel gravestone

As both IWD2 and BG2 use the same engine, why would you think that IWD2 couldn't run on a machine that successfully ran BG2? Did you check the requirements for IWD2? "Intel Pentium II 350Mhz, 64MB RAM"--this is from the Black Isle website. I think they'd know best, don't you agree?
