Those of you who haven't yet downloaded the mod but are interested in doing so, you're best waiting til I offer the updated file. Shouldn't be longer then a few days to a week, I think.
Those of you already playing it, you should be aware of the following three difficulties:
1. The Scourge Barrow teleportation amulet seems to be causing a looping bug, one where you may find yourself unexpectedly teleported back to the Barrow when interacting with other message boxes in the game.
2. Decius Mus' first quest, to retrieve the notes of Ano Vando, skips the dialogue that actually tells you what to do. The short version is that Vando has a private room downstairs in the Ald Skar Inn in Ald'ruhn. Look for his notes there, but since he's the paranoid sort they're likely to be hidden.
3. The interrogation of the captured Ascended Sleeper in Barataria (Romana Corvus quest #2) has buggy dialogue. You -can- get around it by typing the following in the console: addtopic "What are the sleepers?".
The only other error you're likely to encounter is that currently you will not receive promotion to the top rank of the guild, completing the final quest. If you already have the mod installed but have not yet played through much of it, I do recommend not playing any further until the updated file is released. The above workarounds are mentioned only for those who are absolutely determined to make it work right now.
As much as the bugs are interfering with play at this time, commentary has been very positive:
LDones, author of a number of very noted mods himself, offers:
"I played through the entire thing, start to finish (had to fix a few things along the way), and it's got all the makings of a truly great mod. It integrates flawlessly into the MW game, actually adding to the experience w/ the main quest by giving background to a bunch of random things. The thought that went into the dialogue and concepts behind the quests & areas - Really great work. Once the bugs/refinements get ironed out, I'll have a hard time not recommending this mod to everyone. "
So, those of you who have interested in this and are having to be patient waiting for a 100% bugfree final version... all I can say is that hopefully your patience will be rewarded
