Changing skills from misc. to major?

Post by Vicsun »

I started the game as a mage with all magic skills in either major or minor slots. However as the game progressed I found out that enchanting is useless (for me) and I'd rather pay for my items to be enchanted. I also found out it was very difficult to survive with all weapon skills on misc, so after repetitive dying because of a lack of magica I thought it would be a good idea to reduce my enchating skill to a misc skill and upgrade my short-blade skill to a major skill.
Can someone explain to me (taking into consideration I'm a 4-year-old :) ) how this can be done?
Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak

Short answer: Sorry. Can't be done.

Long Answer: That's not entirely true, there is a console command (I don't know it I'm afraid) that will bring up that Character Creation menu that you get after answering all of Socucius Ergalla's questions. However it will mess up all your levels and stuff. My advice is to either sit it out, buy some training in weapons or restart.
