Where the hell is the_Pope?

However I judge other members in based on my own criteria, I dont know how The Pope feels about events that happened in SYM area or if the rating that he recived had anything to do with that.
The Pope is posting in BIS/Bio forum, that I know (unless is someone else using his usually and rather unique screen name).
I will be sure to ask if is the same.

Yes, I am the same...
I have also Drakron Du´Dark in BIS/Bio but I lost the password and, after I try to have it E-mailed to me and I never get it, was forced to register again.

I dont need to put words in his mouth, if I would, I am sure that many members here that are also members in BIS/Bio would PM him about it and I think that he still have gamebanshee password and could very well put the record strait.
Not everone that stoped posting in here made a "goodbye" note with the reason of why stop posting.
And you making this some type of issue, he stoped posting in here and is posting in BIS/Bio forums.

Your rating doesn't show up if its under 3.5 apparently. So I guess it wouldn't look any different whether you turned it off or it didn't show.

I doubt the_pope was particularly ar$ed about that. I don't think many people are. I think its maybe considered a status symbol to have 4 stars or less...not one that I'm hankering after I must say.

Hell, there's more than one board and more than one RPG to play and get stuck on. You really can't blame him if he's gone off somewhere else...

What did I expect. I will e-mail Buck and tell him I tried to handle this in a grown up manner and not flame up the board...but dealing with children has it draw backs. If you want to make comment a least be big enough toback them up.

Any one have anything to ask me...my e-mail and Private Message is always on....I have no reason to hide.

My comment is this one.

The Private message is something (like E-mail) that is either activated or deactivated by the members wish for let others to use.
In my case I decided to deactivated both since I decided not to let others get in personal contact with me, Vixen was a the only one that used that.
After recent events that happened I decided to deactivated it again, Vixen did not press a desire to futher conversation after I fail to made a reply and did not asked for me to reactivated that system so she could, like she have done (at that time I did reactivated private messages) in the past.
I decided to not let this conversation go any futher but you did, by making replys quoting my messages.
For some reason, you think this is a flame, I was asked a question about my user name in that forum, that I reply since we both are active members (like The Pope) in there.
The Pope even asked the same question in there seeing that I only remove part (the Du´Dark) of my screen name, that I also reply.

However you belive that I must reactive my Private Message for you to send one about some question that I do not wish to anwer, upon my refusal you E-mail the admistator about what its a member decision of its active or inactive.

Now my final comment.

Yesterday I asked (by private message) Buck Satan if it was possible to delate my user name, the anwer was that was not possible, that I understand.
For my action in the past my user name started to became to carried a meaning that I no longer want, its know for several things that I said that I am sorry, but certain members are unable to put the past behind.
Because of certain attitudes made towards me in the past and the correct one that happened here yesterday and today, I have come to this decision.

Of now, I will no longer post in any of Gamebanshee forums.

Seeing that stoping posting in the Speak your mind forum was not suficient to make some members to make some replys towards me, its clear to me that only by way to prevent that is by fully stoping to participate in Gamebanshee forum.
I simply do not wish to be treated like that, its mine decision and I belive that is for the best of this forums.
If anyone belives that I am being a child or that I am overacting, this kind of situations have happend in the past, some were of my fault but I always remain in here, of now, I cannot.
Perhaps I will talk to some of you (I am sure that of some I will very soon seeing that we are members of other board) in the future but not in here.

So to all, Goodbye.

You came here on your on free will and post a comment saying you believe The_Pope left because of a bad rating...which I did give him, which you knew I did..I even told The_Pope why I did. Why did you do this??? To get pay back because I gave you a 4. When everyone else abandon you...I was there..like a fool. I asked you to turn on your PM so this could be handle in Private...but no more stuff on the boards.

sorry you're leaving Drakron.I remember back in the days,when I was still a silent lurker on this board,you Weasel,GruntBoy,Ubik,magusg and the old gang were really helping out all of us,with an occasional spam or two of course

but since,for some weird reason,I don't visit the SYM board I don't know what exactly's been going on there,so I just wanted to say I'll remember you for your many good & helpful advices.

Goodbye Drakon. We need people like you and fable, spreading their knowledge and helping others. I was also a lurker in december when i bought the game. Back then the only people were Weasel, Mr. Sleep, You(Drakon), Bordin Steelaxe, Omar and a bunch of other people. All the great spammers hung around the bg2 board then.
It is sad when people leave because of excessive flaming and other unpleasent reasons, such as C. Elegans.
Many people come and go, and most aren't noticed when they leave. But then they are some people when without them the place would seem empty, such as you and Weasel. You have made such a namee as a D&D expert and were a great help.

The_Pope wasn't bad. I enjoyed him being here because he was helpful, although his critics over look that. Some of his topics were closed, but i noticed that all his BGdungeon related ones were closed. Was there some jealousy between the two forums. When he reffered to it, everybody here started flaming him.

All this exceesive flaming has forced many people to leave, and i fear that something like what haapened to BGdungeon may happne here. This board is becoming huge with 2 or 3 people joining everyday. The BG2 forum is very busy and i can't begin to imagine the traffic when the expansion pack comes out. The BG2 forum will be so busy that people won't be able to get in. Then NWN is coming out and that will create big traffic too, and it comes out shortly after, i believe.

This is all becoming to similar to BGdungeon, i fear, and i hope there isn't the same result. Sometimes comments posted by a person may really turn off another, but nobody realizes. I am going to stop my flaming of people, because i don't need to add to the mess and confusion being created here.

Maybe you'll reconsider, but i fear, like most people who have left, that your mind's made up. I had noticed that you no longer posted in SYM and weren't really posting anywhere. I'm sorry if I had any part in this, and I'm sorry that you have been forced to leave. Back in december, i came to this board to get help by reading posts about the game. Drakon, you were a great contributer and i remember how everybody admired your knowledge about D&D. Drakon you were an important part to this communtiy. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you wish to do.
