Day limit?

Post by jambo81 »

I was just wondering, does anybody know if there is a limit to the number of days you can play a single game through.
And I mean the in game days not real days.

Just out of curiosity, how many days does it take others to finish the game? I took 106 days on my first time through. The second time is taking longer.

Well, no.
Go to the http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursgateii/locations.php to see if you miss anything, like the mind flayer area in the sewers.
After Chap 6 cames Chap 7 that is pass on the elven city and one more area.
Chap 7 is the last.

I read somewhere that a fellow gamer had some problems with the Jaheira romance.....(not that unusual)

The thing was that he was constantly resting his party waiting and hoping for Jaheira to say something......(not that unusual either)

His current game day was 900+ something....(now that is unusual)......and he was wondering if the romance had stalled somehow....haha Image

Heh, you can tell the spell heavy groups vs the hack and slash groups! Image

My first two times through I pretty much cruised through it and only rested when someone got tired... not as often as BG1.

Ended up being less than 100 for certain.

However, I'm no soloing an Elven Multiclass Fighter/Mage/Thief and since I've got the Planar Sphere and Fighter keep as my strongholds (I love having them both!) I rest a bit more often.

By the way, how long does it usually take for your apprentices to make something? They've been working for close to 4 days now and still casting their spell effects! GIMME MY WAND OF THE APPRENTI ALREADY! Image
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

I ran into a problem with a time limit on accepting Bodhi's help (instead of the shadow thieves). I spent way to long in chapter 2 (45 days) before going to see her in the graveyard and she was gone Image I had to go back to day 30 to be able to meet up with her. In the end I decided to just continue on from day 45 and I will do the Bodhi path on my 3rd time through (evil cleric or monk I havent decided).

My first time though ~100 days, this time through (I just got back from underdark) I am at 70+ days.

Actually Damasta a year in Faerun is 360 days not 365 as we have........you see 12 months with 30 days each equals 360......

I'm only beginning but I'm going to try and visit all areas of the game the first time through & do as many of the quests as possible. Not sure how many days it'll take.
