The sword spider is the fastest of the spider gang that you face in Baldurs Gate. Not only do they seem like they have haste, they also do the most damage next to the phase spider. For low level groups, these spiders could do some serious damage. Though once youre a high level, theyll just be another fly on the windscreen.
