I can't figure out how to give Nathaniel his equipment back. The dialogue options aren't there and he doesn't automatically take his equipment. Help please!!

If you don't have any dialog options to do so, then you haven't found the one or two pieces he really wants, yet. Keep searching.

Yep.

And don't think you can keep the ring and avoid him. He's necessary to advance to the next chapter, which means he gets the ring.

Are you sure, Fable? I haven't tested it, but his dialogue seems to indicate that the ring is -not- neccessary for him to do what he needs to do... just helpful.

Ring of Ram

Hmmm. I don't remember ever even getting the Ring of Ram, and don't recall giving it to Nate ... but maybe it was in among my stuff (unidentified), and he just took it when he took the bag of holding ... dunno.

EDIT: Nope. I now have found the Ring of Ram. You do not have to give it to Nate. Just don't pick it up until after you have found his bag of holding, and returned same-said to him. Then go and get the Ring of Ram, after.

Could anyone tell me where to find Nathaniels Bag of Holding?

I've cleared both levels completely and haven't seen the bag.
