www.megagames.com has two, but they don't seem to properly work, could be that I patched and then cracked, might still work, give it a try...

Just get pi$$ed at your mom.
Did you pay for the game? If yes, then it's yours for crying out loud!

Hell, if my parents even tried to pull such a thing with me, I'd take away their car keys or something like that.

By the way, punishment for what? Don't tell me she just did that because she doesn't like CRPGs?!

Hide in shadows, detect traps/illusions and then steal the game from your mom!

Have a look where he's from!!!

There's a good chance his mum has been brainwashed into believing that tall stories about Jesus are mutually exclusive with fairy stories about elves and goblins.

What a sad sad world we live in where a bit of harmless fantasy can upset some people to that extent.

I went to mass this morning to celebrate Jesus', erm, "rising from the dead", (as if...) and the priest was telling us to appreciate life for what we have and what we can do for other people because from one moment to the next we could all end up dead of a heart attack or something.

He sure as **** didn't say anything about making kids miserable by taking away their CRPG Cd-Roms.

My advice is *not* to argue the point (after all, WHO puts the food on your table, eh?) but to spend the month combing the bible for juicy quotes you can use to make them feel guilty next time they have a go at you.

Percy, with respect, you're speculating. We don't know anything about Lichslayer's background; and frankly, finding a parent who actually *cares* about what their kid watches and plays is a breath of fresh air, IMO--though I'm not taking sides on this. (How could I? I don't know any of the circumtstances.)

Lichslayer, I'd suggest sitting down and, if possible, chatting with your mom about what you feel you honestly get out of the game, and what you think it does. Compare it to tv, if you'd like, which is far more realistic and just about as violent. Maybe you can arrive at some compromise--surely, this is a matter where personal trust has to be involved.

And you might want to think about that, before you get a crack of the game. If your mom catches it, changes are things will be more serious. Pick your fights well.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

You could always take out your Lilarcor and run screaming into the kitchen, "HOT BUTTA". Recreating multiple scenes from multiple killing movies. But that's just a joke. Don't really do that ;) , that would be really bad  .

Where can I get me some o' this Baldur's Gate 2 Crack?! Cus' man, I LOVE crack! Can't get enough o' that sweet, sweet crack! Oh wait...It seems you're talking about something else :( :o My bad. Just forget I said anything :D :D :D

Seriously, I don't think we should antagonize the boy’s mother since we don’t know the particulars of the situation. Did she take the CDs away as a legitimate parental punishment or simply because she doesn’t like the games? If the former I think we should respect her authority and let her do her job. ;) But you have my condolences, LichSlayer (Aren’t I a freak, mixing exultation for illegal narcotics with moral family values? :D )
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Fable, you're a wise man! It's a great change to see a parent caring about what their kids are doing on the computer, even if we don't agree with their decision. Getting a crack may worsen the situation. What if you loose computer priveledges altogether. Talk to your mom, Lichslayer21. If you've done something wrong and she's taking this away as punishment, work it out with her.

There are only a couple legitamate reasons to seek a CD crack, and far too many unsavory reasons.

I am sure this was a sincere request, but the information is pretty easy to abuse. IMHO as RPG enthusiasts, we should support the industry by not asking for or giving information that would allow a game to be played without purchase.

Waverly is wise, too, though I'll never admit that publicly. Whoops! Doh! :D

LichSlayer21, regardless of your motives for wanting this, it isn't a good solution. It could get you into more trouble, and it supports those working against the very company that brought us these wonderful games.
